MemberFather & son combination of Darren and Nathaniel Willoughby. Last night Darren requested a personal porter so a guy by the name of Jackie from Sairope Village near Kokoda walked in from Owers' Corner to catch up with the group and carry his backpack.

MemberIn 2012, the guy seen here in the middle of his two trekkers, Charelle Byrne and Masa Music, won our Kokoda Challenge Race in a little over 18 hours from Kokoda to Owers' Corner. His name is Ramsy Idau and he is not only fit but remains one of our best personal porters who walks often.

MemberBoth of our treks, 847 & 877 have now reached Ioribaiwa Village where they will spend the night. Shane phoned in around 6pm to say they had all reached the village and that everyone was ok and doing well. Mark in Arnold's trek requested a personal porter who has now caught up with the group. Tomorrow the group have a tough climb ahead of them as they head up Maguli Range and pass through Naoro Village then down to Agulogo for the night.

MemberTrekkers have now reached the half way point of Efogi where they have restocked with food flown in earlier this week on a private charter.
Shane said everyone was ok and had done well which is great news. Tomorrow they will head off to 1900/Myola Junction to spend the night.
Apparently its been raining quite heavy yesterday and today so making the conditions a little tougher.

MemberTrekkers have now reached Isurava Village where they are spending their last night on the track. Tomorrow they will walk out into Kokoda and no doubt will be pretty pleased with themselves.
Earlier today they passed through Isurava Memorial before heading down to Isurava Village for the night. Isurava is always the highlight of a trek so no doubt today trekkers were blown away when they walked around the corner from Alola into this area as besides the history of what happened there, the placement of the monument has such beautiful views.
