MemberBack in January this year I can recall hearing about this group of trekkers heading out on the Kokoda Track. We were asked lots of questions – answered heaps and two of our guides Rod Ori and Wallace Lemeki along with my son Nathan met up with this group of trekkers. Not long after they booked with us and last night arrived in Port Moresby on a rather late flight arriving around 7pm.
Trekkers in this group include :
Darryl, Craig, Aaron & Brett Jorgensen; Neil, Doublas & John McKenna; Richard Williams; Zachary and Christian Simpkins an Benjamin West.
This morning we picked up trekkers from the Gateway Hotel approximately 8:00am and not long after were at Bomana War Cemetery where we stopped for about an hour for them to have a look around.

MemberHi Guys
Great to know you made it safely into PNG – we waited to see the plane take off, just to make sure you all went – I see by your smiling faces in the photograph that you are all present and accounted for – although you had a later than anticipated start, you made it to the cemetery. Scenery looks fantastic –
Guess you have had a great day – sights have left you feeling a little "elevated" (pardon the pun)
Rather upset that Dazza has one more passport stamp than i do – just jokes – missing him terribly – very different than just a night shift – i know he will be home in a few hours.
Take care guys, love yous all (I think someone famous once said that) – have fun, keep safe, hugs to Rod and Wallace – the pressure is on them to get you all through – they are great guys and i know they will do it. Message for my man Dazza – don't forget to give the blue bag to the Rod and Wallace or Gail.
Hugs for all – have a good night sleep – only 8 to go.
Love
Dianne

MemberHi Guys,
Glad to see that you are all doing well. Hopefully those smiles will hang around for quite a few more days yet.
Ben…I am very proud of you although I wish I were there with you… You know it is something that I have always wanted to do but probably won't be able to do so you will just do it for the both of us. Remember all the stories that Grandad told you about… and don't forget to use your helpful words of wisdom from Dave.
All the cadets wish you the best and can't wait for you to get back. Cadets is just not the same without you.
Stay safe and look after each other.
Love you babe.

MemberWe have heard that they reached Uberi (Goodwater) campsite where they are spending the night along with our other trek that headed out today. So far so good, all are doing well.
