    FURTHER DETAILS:

Kokoda Blue is a charity fundraiser initiated by Group Exercise Therapy founder Ryan Wavish. It aims to get a group together to trek the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea to raise awareness and funds for depression and other mental illnesses.

At GET we firmly believe in the theraputic nature of exercise (as our name suggests!) and we are very proud to be supporting this initiative. GET will be running specific training sessions for the trekkers, making donations to the cause and providing opportunities for our clients to get involved.

The Kokoda Trail represents a unique physical and emotional challenge that will give the group a chance to combine getting some great "group exercise therapy" with helping more Australian's to fully enjoy the great country that our diggers fought for.

The trek is scheduled for May 2006 and aims to raise at least $50,000. Proceeds will be donated to One in Five (http://www.oneinfive.com.au/) and The Mental Health Research Institute of Victoria (http://www.mhri.edu.au/).

The more people the better so please spread the word!

If you would like more information or to get more involved in Kokoda Blue please call Ryan on 9600 2103 or Email: ryan@groupexercisetherapy.com.au

Each trekker contributes a flat rate ($5,000) to cover all their costs and a donation.

If you would like to join this trek and contribute to their cause, contact Ryan at the email address above.
