Boss Meri
MemberTrek 1009 got away as planned yesterday when they were collected from their accommodation and driven out to Bomana War Cemetery and later to the drop off point at Owers' Corner. Trekkers on this trek are complete strangers to each other, well until yesterday, and turns out they both hail from England. Mike Fenn and Rachael Gifford.
All photographs taken yesterday can be viewed on our Kokoda facebook page:

MemberThis trek is now at Kagi Village. Tomorrow the plan is to head to Templeton's Crossing II for the night. No problems, both trekkers are doing just great along with our boys accompanying them.

MemberTrekkers are now at Templeton's Crossing for the night. Mike is having problems with his feet so will have to tough it out tomorrow as they head towards the finish line. Plan a), is to head down to Deniki. Plan <img src='http://www.kokodatrail.com.au/forums/public/style_emoticons//cool.png’ class=’bbc_emoticon’ alt=’B)’ /> is to stop at Isurava Village. It will all depend on how Mike is coping as he makes his way along the track.

MemberCongratulations to Mike and Rachael as they walked off the track this afternoon into Kokoda and are now relaxing at Orohaven Pija Retreat for the night and tomorrow will be driven down to Girua airport for their flight to Port Moresby. Well done from all of us here at Kokoda Trekking.
