A group of 7 trekkers had an early start this morning when they flew over to Popondetta to commence their trek. They were met and driven up to Kokoda arriving around midday. Following their lunch at Saga Village at the home of their guide Clement Harika, they walked up to the Kokoda Station for a look around before heading off under the archway and onto the Kokoda Trail.
Tonight they are at Deniki and according to Clement are doing well. Trekkers in this group are as follows:

DSCN6069 (Copy).JPGThis group have now reached Ioribaiwa Village and have decided that tomorrow they will walk off the track instead of Monday. They said they were having a good time but decided as a group last night that they would like to finish tomorrow afternoon so they had time to clean their gear etc before heading back home on Monday.
