This morning four trekkers flew over to Popondetta and travelled by road up to Kokoda to commence their trek.
Around 1pm they commenced their walk and tonight finds them at Deniki. Trekkers in this group include :

20151013_074956.jpgTrekkers were on the go today when I received a phone call from 1900/Myola Junction. This group made a decision not to walk through Kagi but to go via Naduri to Efogi. If they arrive there early the plan was to push on to Menari as it seems they have also decided to try and come out ahead of their planned schedule date of the 18th Oct. Everyone continues to do well.
Walking towards Myola Junction.jpgThis trek have pulled up for the day at Ofi Creek. They have all decided to walk off tomorrow instead of the 18th as per the original plan. They should be at Owers' Corner around 1-2pm tomorrow. Picture them tonight – their last night around the campfire.
