MemberThis group have now reached 1900/Myola Junction area of the track. Trekkers I spoke to yesterday said it was quite cold there at the moment if you are used to QLD or the tropics. Victorian's felt it was warmer than back home. Apparently its been a dry track all the way from Owers' Cnr. until now.

MemberCongratulations to this group of trekkers who walked off the track today into Kokoda. Later in the afternoon after a short stop at Orohaven Kokoda Retreat, they made their way down to Orohaven Pija Retreat where they are spending the night before being driven to Girua airport tomorrow morning for their flight back to Port Moresby.
I heard they went for a dip in their creek before having some banana cake made by one of their porters.
