    Trekkers flew over to the Oro Province yesterday and were met by their guide Horace Yauga. They were then driven to points of interest in the area before heading out to Sanananda where they spent the night.

    This morning they were driven up to Kokoda and around 10am they commenced their walk across the Kokoda Trail.

    Trekkers in this group include : ‘”

      \n”.self::process_list_items(“‘.str_replace(‘
      ‘, ”, ‘

      [*]Murray Wilks

      [*]Michael Gawn

      [*]Shane Whereat’).'”).”\n

    “‘

    Picture them this morning as they would have walked through the Kokoda archway.

    This trek arrived at Deniki around 2pm and it was decided to stop there for the night.

    All three trekkers are doing ok.

    This trek has now reached Alola Village where they are sharing the area with another trekking company walking in the opposite direction. Apparently its a dry track. According to their guide, they are all doing ok.

    Trekkers have now reached Templeton's Crossing where they are camped for the night. Picture them tomorrow as they walk up Mt Bellamy and the Kokoda Gap lookout.

    I received a phone call tonight to say the group have now reached Brigade Hill after a big day having commenced their trek today from Templeton's Crossing 1. Everyone continues to do well.

    The plan today was to stop at Efogi but trekkers wanted to keep going. Horace their guide decided they would not push down to Menari but made a decision to stop at Brigade Hill. Tomorrow they will head to Naoro Village for the night.

    Horace phoned in this morning from Maguli Range to say they were all ok and heading to Ua'Ule Creek to spend the night. Last night they stopped at Naoro Village for the night. He said only 3 treks on the go, Chris Suma walking with one trekker; 1 other trekking company and ourselves. So if you like to avoid crowds, a good time to trek.

    Congratulations are in order as this trek walked through the arches at Owers' Corner yesterday, one day ahead of schedule. The group have spent their last on the track at Owers' Corner and are in the process of being picked up and driven back to our base in Port Moresby via a trip to Bomana War Cemetery. Well done guys from all of us here at Kokoda Trekking.
