MemberTrekkers spent last night at Ofi Creek and today are heading to Agulogo for the night. They will have a tough day as they climb up Maguli Range into Naoro Village before setting off for their campsite.
According to Clement all trekkers are ok and walking well. They have Sione Orosambo on this trek with them so no doubt they will be enjoying his music as they walk towards Kokoda.
Please note: these are not 'live' pics from the track but from our archive of photographs just to show you the terrain of where they are at the present time.

MemberI spoke with Clement Harika the guide for this trek at 11am this morning from Menari. He said they were all ok and the plan was to reach the half way point of Efogi today.
He said everyone was ok and doing well.
I got to speak to one of the trekkers, and he too assured me the boys were looking after them well and that him and his partner were happy they chose to trek with us.
Think of them today as they climb up Brigade Hill and then down to Efogi.

MemberTrekkers have now reached the half way point of Efogi where they are bedded down for the night, this time on mattresses in Landy Noel's guesthouse.
I spoke with Clement on the sat phone from Efogi and he said his trek is progressing well and that tomorrow they are heading down to 1900/Myola Junction.

MemberTrekkers have now reached 1900/Myola Junction and according to our staff, it rather cool there tonight and the boys were looking forward to being next to the fire. The trekkers will be tucked away inside their tents and away from the wind. Tomorrow they head to Eora Creek. Everyone continues to do well.

MemberCongratulations are in order as our present group of trekkers walked off the track mid afternoon and are presently relaxing at our base in Kokoda. Fantastic effort everyone, well done from all of us here at Kokoda Trekking. Spare a thought to think how they would have felt today, walking through the archway in Kokoda.
