Trekkers are now on their way to 1900/Myola Junction today. Our guide did not call yesterday so not 100% sure where they spent the night but the plan per schedule was to pull up at Eora Creek.

McKenzie Didime just contacted me from Efogi.

He said the group were just passing through the village of Efogi at 10:30am this morning.

The plan today is to head to Agulogo where they will camp for the night. Last night they were at the village of Naduri. Everyone is doing well.

McKenzie called in from Menari tonight to inform me they did not move on to Agulogo and decided to stop there for the night.

Earlier today they would have stopped at Brigade Hill before reaching Menari which is always a moving moment for trekkers as they reflect on what happened there during the war.

Trekkers reached their destination of Ioribaiwa around 5pm this afternoon and have settled in there for the night. According to McKenzie, they all did well today and looking forward to reaching Goldie River tomorrow afternoon.

Congratulations are in order as trekkers walked off the track today, 1 day ahead of schedule and are presently at Sogeri Lodge enjoying a few beers or two. Well done everyone from all of us here at Kokoda Trekking.
