MemberGood morning!
Hope you are all well. My name is Jo and I am a postgraduate History student at the University of Western Australia. Back in May I launched an online survey to to find out more about Aussies who trek the Kokoda Track – their motivations for trekking and what the experience meant to them personally. You can read my original post here.
I have been overwhelmed by the support I have received – especially from trekkers on this forum! Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that I need to close the survey on 31 August. If you would like to contribute to the study there are four weeks left to complete the survey.
You can find out more about the project here: http://www.mykokoda.com.au/
You can complete the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RC2JY2WMany thanks!

MemberHi Jo
I hadn't noticed your request earlier, but have read your correspondence to Gail and will download your Survey to complete for your studies.
I will also ask my Daughter to complete one for you, as it may be beneficial for you to look at the different responses from the Son and Grand-Daughter of a person who who lived in pre-War PNG, was an active Serviceman there and survived and lived for another 30 odd years in the Territory.
I have already walked the Track and am intending to return once again.
Good luck with your Survey and your Post Graduate studies and would welcome viewing the final result.
Kind regards
Warren (Waza) Trek 83
