MemberRamsi Idau about to take on his first trek of 2011 after spending months gold prospecting in Kokoda, met up with Jo Kneebone. Shane mentioned yesterday that Ramsi was feeling the pinch of not walking this year and was at the rear of the group. As he goes along I am sure he will bounce back as he was so looking forward to this walk.

MemberPaul decided he could not continue due to his knees so was picked up this morning from Menari and is now at the Pacific International Hospital for a check up. He will stay in Port Moresby tonight and will try and return to Australia tomorrow.
As for the others, have just spoken to Paul on the phone and he said they are all doing fine and enjoying themselves.

MemberTrekkers have now reached Eora Creek and will walk off the track tomorrow into Kokoda, 1 day ahead of schedule and will overnight at Orohaven Kokoda Retreat. Today was a big day for them but all trekkers continue to do well.
Tomorrow they will walk up to Alola and then spend some time at the Isurava Memorial area before continuing on to Kokoda.
