It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Stan Bisset.
Stan passed away yesterday evening, he had just celebrated his 98th birthday
Stan's life will be celebrated in Noosa next Tuesday
He now goes to join the other great warriors of Kokoda

A Legend. Got that right.
If anyone on here was fortunate enough to meet Stan and talk to him about his Kokoda experiences and about his brother 'Butch' Bissett, blessed were you to be able to do that.
I am grateful that Stan was able to share his experiences and know that the men of Kokoda – himself included – were not – nor ever will be – forgotten. Lest We Forget.
My condolences go out to his family and friends
RIP Stan.
