Trekkers today reached their destination of Ua'Ule Creek where they are spending the night. Trekkers are both doing well.

Perpahs like on of our ex trekkers, they enjoyed sitting in one of the many creeks cooling off after their long days walk.

Heard from Shane yesterday saying trekkers were continuing to do well and that they were on their way to Nauro. Not sure whether they spent the night there or moved on down to Agulogo.

Now that they have got most of the climb out of the way, they will now head down to Menari before reaching the half way point of Efogi.

Its Shane and our boys first trek for 2011 so no doubt are feeling it as they get their mountain legs back again!

At the moment I am overseas and relying on messages from my staff in Port Moresby. I heard from them yesterday that last night the group had reached Eora Creek where they were overnighting.

The plan is to walk off the track today, one day ahead of schedule. They should arrive in Kokoda round 3pm this afternoon. Tonight they will overnight at Orohaven Kokoda Retreat and no doubt will be celebrating their successful trek.

Tonight they will be sleeping in one of our huts and if drinkers will be enjoying our Orohaven Kokoda Wantok Tavern and some nice cold beers.

It looks as if there have been some changes made to Orohaven since I was there. The tavern being one of them.
