Under the leadership of Horace Yauga, 6 trekkers left Owers' Corner on the 27th June and spent their first night on the track at Goodwater campsite area. Trekkers in this group include :

[*]Polly Witts and
[*]Pete DoughtyAccording to Horace today, all trekkers are doing ok. This morning they had morning tea at Ua'Ule Creek; lunch at Ioribaiwa Village and were going to camp at Ofi Creek for the night.

IMG_0410 640×480.JPGTrekkers have now passed through Efogi the half way point and pulled up for the night at Efogi 2. No doubt they will now be looking forward to the other half of their walk as they head for Kokoda.

Efogi Village.jpgThis group have now reached Isurava Village and will walk off the track tomorrow into Kokoda. All trekkers are well and no doubt looking forward to the finish line.
Tomorrow they will walk down past Deniki and Hoi/Kovello before the track leads them to the archway in Kokoda.

Kokoda Archway.jpgCongratulations to all trekkers as they walked off the track today into Kokoda. At the moment they are relaxing at Orohaven Kokoda Retreat.
Tomorrow they will be flown back to Port Moresby.
