MemberOn the 3rd July we drove out to Owers' Corner a group of four trekkers who only planned on spending 4 nights in the bush and on the 5th day they will walk off the track. Everything went according to plan and they commenced their walk from Owers' towards Goldie around 9:30am.
That night they had reached their destination of Ioribaiwa Village. I not long ago heard from their guide to say they had reached their second night of Manari.
All trekkers are doing just fine along with our porters accompanying them on this trek.
Their guide is Kingsley Boropi.

MemberThank you so much for the update, I am very happy to hear that everyone is well!
Could you please tell them all that they are amazing and to keep up the hard work. Also, would you please tell Jerry that I am so proud of him and I look forward to his safe return (and that I promise to take good care of him!). Oh, and could you also tell Jerry that Grant and Nicole are engaged!!
Many thanks for the update on their trek, it is great to hear they are all doing well and for passing on this message, I really appreciate it!
ShannonEditors Note: will pass on first chance I get.

MemberUpdate 7th July: Congratulations are in order for trek 658 when they walked off the track mid afternoon in Kokoda. I have just not long spoken to Jerry and passed on your message Shannon, he seemed really pleased.
I am led to believe they are all pumped up that they successfully completed their trek if Jerry is anything to go by.
Tomorrow they will be driven down to Popondetta to catch the scheduled flight back to Port Moresby on a Dash 8 aircraft.

MemberUpdate 8th July: Trekkers have now reached Port Moresby and were just picked up and dropped off at the Airways Hotel. Will catch up with them later today when we meet at 1pm. My son Shane collected them from the airport and drove them to the Airway's.
